KEY RING

STUDIO: Associates And
MATERIAL: Stainless steel
QUALITIES: Shiny, Round, Heavy

DESCRIPTION︎︎︎

Keys are clumsy jewelry, wedding rings to a home. They initiate a banal procedure (fumble, forget) peripheral to other things on our minds (late, hungry). They aren’t personal but they are devoted.

This thirty-six-inch, bright, unavoidable ring is more pointedly committed. A single flush inset magnet holds multiple standard steel or iron keyrings. Part practical, part poetic, it makes space for our absentmindedness.

Each ring has three mounting points (nine, twelve, and three o'clock positions) on the back and a hidden magnet at the bottom (six o'clock) for a seamless look.
